Today is Transgender Day of Remembrance, (TDoR), a day to honor trans women, trans men, and gender non-conforming people who have lost their lives to violence and hate.  2016 has been the deadliest year for transgender people in the United States.  The deaths of 26 transgender people have been recorded, nearly all of them transgender women of color.

Regardless of what any individual's gender expression looks like, everyone deserves to live their lives on their own terms without being violated, disrespected or subjected to violence. and/or death.

Today in honor of TDoR we share our three part series, Trans(formation).  We gathered narratives at Gender Odyssey this past August in an effort to celebrate those who live authentically, boldly, and free of oppressive gender expectations.
