AWARD WINNER: 5TH ANNUAL SHORTY IMPACT AWARDS “WINNER IN SOCIAL MOVEMENT”
On June 18, 2020, the Supreme Court ruled in favor of protecting 700,000 undocumented youth by keeping DACA in place — and even re-opening it for new applicants! Together we created a campaign that mobilized young people and their communities all over the country, influencing the Supreme Court’s decision and changing the course of history.

The mission of Underdog Dreams, a non-profit organization working on revolutionizing the flawed child welfare system is to exist to provide foster youth, some the most vulnerable members of our society, the opportunity to imagine the possibilities, see a future filled with purpose, and live with intention. We worked with Derrick Stephens, Project Director and Founder of Underdog Dreams to bring visibility to some of the issues in the child welfare system by detailing his own story and narrative of his first hand experience growing up in and navigating the foster care system. Through his compelling journey we were able to humanize and bring a face to the issues Underdog Dreams is working to create awareness and solutions for.
