NEW MUSIC MONDAY: DANCE ALONG TO THE CATCHY TRACK "TIGRE"
Written by: Andrea Dwyer
It's Monday, so you know what that means. Well, you have a long week ahead. No worries, we've got you; from now on, we'll be blessing you with new music every Monday (you're welcome). We'll give you a taste of music that spans all genres. Music that moves. Music that will help get your week started right. Here we have an irresistible track by Dominican songstress Jarina De Marco, titled "Tigre."
Here's what De Marco told The Fader about the track:
"Tigre is Dominican slang for "Fuckboi." He's that macho, womanizing, thinks he's sooo slick, guy that you, your mama, and your girlfriends can spot a mile away. He's that dude hollering at you when all you wanna do is get some damn platanitos at the corner bodego. He's that lip-licking, habitual line-stepping, cat-calling pendejo none of us have time for. In 'Tigre,' I'm recognizing him, calling him out and eye-rolling him into oblivion."
